Duties include to provide subject matter expertise and legal analysis for data protection and privacy related matters, in accordance with local and global legislation, as well as information management practices. Will be responsible for managing a team of consultants, training, as well as the design and implementation of Data Privacy & Protection Programmes.

• In-depth knowledge of privacy & data protection control environments, laws, regulations and best practices (includes POPIA and GDPR)

• Very strong communication and writing skills

• Experience within Financial & Non Financial Industries

• Privacy Certification will be an advantage

• Management experience

Duties include to perform assurance reviews of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions Programmes, which includes, policies & procedures, roles & responsibilities, screening methodologies & capabilities covering relevant government watchlists globally, i.e. U.S OFAC.

The role will also include remediation of transaction monitoring and/or sanction screening alerts, complex research/investigations in order to confirm whether the potential matches to PEP/sanctions lists are actual matches according to laid down guidelines.

• In-depth knowledge of AML & Sanction laws, regulations, lists and international practice

• Experience in Payment Systems/Schemes

• Very strong communication and writing skills

• Ability to work independently

• Experience in AML & Sanctions Audits / Assurance

• ACAMS Certified (preferable)

Duties will include to manage a team of analysts and provide regulatory compliance professional services & guidance in terms of South African AML/CFT and related legislation and internal best practice. Perform risk assessments, draft policies and procedures, define regulatory universes, draft EDD Reports as well as, review, interpret & analyse legislation, data, adverse media etc.

• AML/CFT working experience as consultant / within Financial Services Industry

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Excellent communication and report writing skills

• Knowledge of UK AML/CFT Regime will be an advantage

Duties include to assess clients’ operational environments and draft assurance review methodologies, assurance review reports findings and recommendations. Identify and evaluate significant risk exposures in the control processes and make appropriate recommendations for improvement. To supervise and mentor analysts on specific assurance reviews. To assist/execute client assurance reviews when the need arises. To assist in compiling annual management assurance plan.

• Audit/Management Assurance experience as consultant / within Financial Services Industry

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Excellent communication and report writing skills
